In 1849, several thousands of people migrated to California to find out the gold deposits for making more and more money. Several methods were used by people to achieve gold but the widely used method was panning. People used to make attempts in search of gold for even months.

Humans were first introduced to gold when a child found a glittering rock in a cove thousands of years back. It was a yellow, shinning nugget shape object, which was named as gold. Gold was considered the first metal that early humans knew about.

There is a trend going on these days where different TV ads try to convince the public to buy gold and they portray it as a good investment using the idea that gold prices will be increasing very soon. If we actually notice, this idea is used not just for gold, but many other available items as well.
